The glass artists of First City Art Center are proud to be offering FREE comprehensive glassblowing instruction to four high school students in grades 9-11 in Escambia and Santa Rosa County. This year’s program, their fourth, will begin with an orientation on March 6, 2014 and will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays until April 22nd.
Selection Process:
Each interested student must complete the short application detailing their current interest in art and why they are interested in pursuing this opportunity in glassblowing. Each student application must also include a written recommendation by a high school teacher. Students may also submit photos of recent art/craft works. Selection is at the sole discretion of the First City Art Center Glass Guild instructors.
