Winter Campus Updates
As 2020 comes to a close, and we prepare for a new year, we have some exciting things to share! From online pumpkin sales, to our Winter Art Market, you won’t want to miss a thing!
Pumpkin Sales
We’re so incredibly thankful for such a strong show of support from our community, not only during Pumpkin Patch 2020, but also for our online and on-campus pumpkin sales that followed.
By popular demand, the last of this year’s pumpkins are available for purchase online while supplies last!
See the full selection of glass and ceramic pumpkins here!
Thank You to our Volunteers!
We’d like to thank the volunteers that helped us throughout all stages of Pumpkin Patch, from start to finish. There is absolutely no way we could do what we do without the help of each and every one of our dedicated volunteers, including our pumpkin artists, board members, students and friends!
THANK YOU!
Hot Glass for Heroes Program
In honor of those who have served our country, First City Art Center is launching a glass scholarship fund for veteran and active duty service members. Hot Glass for Heroes is scheduled to start Spring 2021, and each $75 scholarship provides a participant with a one-hour hands-on glassblowing class.
We ask that you join us this Veterans Day to help kick off our fundraising efforts, giving our veterans a creative outlet with the potential to heal and transform.
More details to come this week!
Winter Art Market
Join us Saturday, December 12th from 10am-3pm, for our Winter Art Market!
FCAC’s Winter Art Market will be an outdoor event featuring local art vendors, glass holiday ornaments from FCAC artists, glassblowing and pottery demonstrations, raffles and more!
Interested in being a vendor? Apply here!
**Masks are required on FCAC Campus for all staff, vendors, volunteers and attendees**
Health and Safety
FCAC continues to follow all current CDC guidelines, and face coverings requirements issued by the City. At this time, we are still requiring masks to be worn on FCAC campus. Students, teachers, those picking up pre-ordered ceramic supplies, or using studio spaces may access the campus; however, the office and campus remain closed to visitors.
We appreciate you all helping to keep our community safe and healthy!
