This week students will get to experience a range of glass and ceramic processes! From pottery on the wheel and raku firing, to glass fusing and working with hot glass, campers will get to see the transformative properties of heat while also learning about design, technique, and using a variety of materials.
Explore various printmaking projects including the combined process of screen printing onto fabric! From relief printing, like carving linoleum and mixed media stamps, to hand stitching designs, students get an introduction to a range of techniques for both textile and printmaking works.
This week, students will learn about the fundamentals and history of analog photography. We will explore the technical and design aspects of photography through cyanotypes, anthotypes, pinhole cameras, instant film and developed film photography.
A camera is not required, but encouraged if child has access to a film camera such as a Polaroid or a camera that prints with heat sensitive paper.
